Liz Fekete of Institute of Race Relations (IRR) and author of A Suitable Enemy: Racism, Migration and Islamophobia in Europe introduces a discussion on the desperate plight facing hundreds of thousands of refugees attempting to flee war, persecution, torture and poverty. How we can extend  solidarity as trade unionists & challenge the government’s hopeless response?

Tom Henri GUCU President reports on the last year and introduces discussion on key issues facing us in the coming term. Plus discussion of the People’s Tribunal – a review of the impact of the tripling of fees at Goldsmiths for the five year anniversary of the vote 9th Dec 2015.

Election of new representatives – all positions will be up for re-election (see current positions here). If you want to stand/ or are interested in standing contact Hannah at gucu-admin@gold.ac.uk.  You can also put yourself forward on the day at the meeting.
